Estate pipes from the Briar Patch have been sterilized, cleaned, reamed and polished. Where necessary (heavy damage) we replace the stem with as close to the original as possible, including the logo. If we acquired the pipe with its original stem, we will include it with the package.

We do our best to fully authenticate our estate pipes. However, we will occasionally make errors. If you know something about one of our pipes that we don’t, please let us know. All measurements are approximate.

The key to our pipe condition codes follows:
  1. Smoked – Repaired Pipe i.e. Cracked shank, repaired with silver band.
  2. Heavily Smoked – Charring on the bowl, scratches and nicks on the pipe.
  3. Smoked – minor charring on the bowl, minor scratches and nicks on the pipe.
  4. Smoked – few scratches and nicks on the pipe.
  5. Un-Smoked – very minor scratches and nicks on the pipe.
  6. Un-Smoked – Pristine.
Our return policy on Estate pipes is very simple. Return the pipe for any reason, un-smoked, within 10 days of receiving it and we will refund the full amount you paid, less shipping. You are responsible for shipping and insurance on the return.

Assuming you can get past the fills in this bent Chimney sitter from the early 70's, it's a nice pipe. We counted eight. It will make someone a great knock around.
