If you receive a pipe from us that is not up to your expectations, you can return it within 10 days for a full credit, less shipping, toward another pipe or for refund. Returned pipes must not have been smoked and must be received in salable condition.

Hans Nielsen ‘Former’ has been in the pipe making business for over 40 years. He was trained by the top names in the Danish pipe making business; including Poul Rasmussen, Sven Bang, Sven Knudsen, Emil and Jess Chonowitsch. He worked at WO Larsen for ten years advancing from carver to master carver to supervisor. He began producing the Bentley line in 1986 and the Former line in 1991. Hans currently carves about 500 Former pipes per year. Former’s pipes are both beautiful in form and great smokers. He always finds the pipe in the briar. If you don’t have at least one Former in your collection, it’s not complete.
